I got totally stoked over this periwinkle door. I haven't been this excited over a color since back when I discovered lavender roses and more recently my Tripp neon yellow skinnies.

The belt was one of those WTF purchases that you just look back on and wonder what the hell you were thinking. For some reason, it just called to me. Hey, at least it doesn't have rhinestones on it.

the new beater

i've always had an obsession with the union jack symbol. Combine that with some def leppard and some strategic cutouts and you've got the new rock n' roll beater.

everything here is vintage or thrifted except my chloe padlock bracelet.

i'm totally in love with the stackable watch look. found these 2 particular watches at value village. let's just say for $2 each, any expectation of functionality kind of goes out the window.





my newly acquired silver basket weave ring from a small market place in austin featured here with a whole wheat garlic spinach calzone. both taste bud tantalizing.

on the 23rd floor

We took a trip to the 23rd floor of the Hilton downtown. A-mazing.

(DIY studded Value Village bustier, BCBG tank, dad's vintage pants, Zigi Soho platforms)

I initially zoned in on these platforms because they were too cool for school, pushing the heights (literally) into stripper-dom. It was only after the fact that I realized they're total knockoffs from the Balenciaga '09 resort collection. I'm sure W.ill got more than a couple of chuckles watching me stumble around on probably my highest pair of heels yet.

so i was randomly browsing alexander mcqueen on ebay and there was a random listing for the mcqueen x target studded shorts that was using one of my photos from my blog. um, i guess i'll let it slide. i feel so used.

one of my classmates deemed my signature hairstyle 'pebbles' as you can see in the last pic (from the flinstones of course!). i never thought of the resemblance, so cute!
