Marfa photo diary Pt. 2

We stayed at El Cosmico, a campsite complete with safari tents, giant teepees, and cute vintage trailers. One of the best things about Marfa were the empty roads. Miles and miles of scenic nothing. A blogger's paradise.

In case you were wondering. The heart sunglasses were purchased from CVS around Valentine's day.

Two Tone

I NEED this two tone custom made leather skirt as seen on The Rosenrot, one of my new favorite obsessions.

Who dresses avante garde anymore? She does. And I love her for it.

Patchwork

This nautical bag was sitting in my closet gathering dust. It has a large navy blue front pocket with the words "PUERTO RICO" on it and I didn't want to use it anymore because it carries memories of my last relationship that left me with a broken heart.

I realized that all I had to do was cut up some extra fabric that I had found at an estate sale and glue it onto the front pocket to cover the words and essentially the painful memories that I associate with it. Out of sight, out of mind works! Now, I couldn't be more happy with the fashionable result and the fact that I made something previously unusable usable again.

Now that's what I call redemption!

Marfa Photo Diary Pt. 1

Took a road trip out to the middle of the desert to a little town called Marfa, Texas.
To be continued...
