DIY reveal

inpiration

application

(Salvation Army DIY sweater, Ross DIY jeans, Dad's black oxfords)

Just when I thought my creative well had gone dry, I came across that photo on because i'm addicted's blog. I happened to have a sweater that I got from Salvation Army that I bought for an A.Wang DIY but thought the fit wasn't right for it so I abandoned the sweater.

The obvious inspiration was in the shoulder area, and as the project progressed, the creativity gods blessed me and turned it into the piece you see putting slits along the arm (reminiscent of my last DIY) and adding a crapload of studs.

My mom says she hates it, but i know it's the most awesome shit she's ever seen.

My mom makes some negative comments about my outfits too. I just pretend that she wishes she could wear that too.
Very cool sweater and good job studding it.
