• I can't believe I didn't put the combat boots + harem combination together sooner.
• I'm telling you, every now and then you'll get a piece in your wardrobe that will just automatically put an outfit together for you. Case in point, these combat boots.
  

Summer trash

• It's amazing what a little hardware can do for an outfit.
• I'm thinking after I got some time on my hands I'd like to start up a vintage shop in the cyber world, but I'm afraid I'd want to keep everything I'm supposed to sell.
• I'm off to IHOP with my mom instead of studying for my final tonight. yay!
  

I'm a little behind

• I got a haircut a few days ago. A very nice haircut actually. But you would never notice because for some reason I insist on putting my hair up. All the more reason a boy haircut is definitely in my near future.
• This shirt conveniently doubles as the acid wash jacket I always wanted and never had.
• This spike ring was way too big for my fingers so I just wear it on top of one of my other rings, and all is right in the world. I'm just waiting for someone to mess with me so I can stick it right in their jugular.
  
• This post is dedicated to Liz, who always makes wearing workout headbands uber-chic. I mean who does that?!

I first came across Valerie's fringe necklace which is oh-so-cute! Then happened upon this picture from Coachella. I'm really liking the fact that the 2nd necklace conveniently doubles as a shirt.

• I'll be going to Puerto Rico during my summer break to see the boo.
• Call me old-fashioned, but it's purely a coincidence that the majority of swimsuits that caught my eye are one pieces.
• I'm really feeling the sauvage one...but definitely not something to wear around the possible in-laws to-be.

Must Be My Lucky Day v. 509.1

• Welcomed this 80s bustier (complete with its own set of suspenders) into the family. Think I have plans for this lovely.
  
• 2 things I've been living in: my 24 hour starbucks and these no-name combat boots...My version of the classic docs.
• I've been spending my days freezing my ass off, getting fat off of frappacinos so that I can stay awake long enough to get just enough studying done. The only thing that's been keeping me awake is caffeine and Kanye West. I'm just no fun these days.
  

A few things

• Stocked up on a bunch of cheap basics at the massive UO galleria sale section. Not really talking Salvation army cheap, but damn cheap for UO that's for sure.
  
• I am wearing the pocket tunic as I speak and it is one of the best silhouettes ever.
  
• Other purchases not pictured: high-waisted pleather skirt and a "GRUNGE IS DEAD" tee
  
• Tip: most of the time in-store is much cheaper than online
  
• Attended one of my old college roommates lingerie shower/bachelorette party in Austin this weekend. Hands down one of the best times I've had with alcohol in a long time. Can we say 'let's dance'? If I find a non-incriminating photo, I'll be sure to post!

Large and In Charge (ok maybe just Large)

If you remember a while back I was invited to join Dagens Outfit. I don't know much about this website except that somehow it's associated with Stockholm Streetstyle. Currently they have my Suede and Fringe outfit on the front page and in the very first spot blown up in huge proportions! I'm not sure if it's in first place because they know it's my computer but anything with my face blown up on the internet deserves a little happy dance deep down inside. • Extravagant shoes are like the friend that's always good for a wild time, but when it counts they're never there for you. Classics will always bail you out when you have nothing to wear.
• These are on the borderline of grandma shoes, but I think the texture and the high-enough heel save them.
  
• I wouldn't necessarily wear them with this outfit...I was just giving them a test run.
• Yeah, my toes in these shoes? Like sardines in a can. If somebody has a good recommendation for these so-called 'shoe stretchers', send me a comment.

Must Be My Lucky Day v. 509

• I'm with the band. No not the tight leather pants and groupie band. The summer camp and braces band. I know, I know. Been there, seen that. But tell me who could accomplish this for $4 at Salvation Army on a 50% off Wednesday. Yeah...I didn't think so. I scored a couple of other things including a sweet Levis acid wash shirt, but this one definitely takes the cake.
  
• I really want to embellish it with some mirror like beads to make the jacket just completely obscene to look at. Not sure where I would find said beads, but a trip to the local bead store is in order.
• My blog is conveniently turning into a documentation of my secondhand finds. I swear I'll be posting more 3 dimensional outfits soon when I'm not so busy, stressed, and utterly fashionably useless.
• Thank you so much for your thoughts on the shoe. I totally feel the love!

Don't ask me how cysts and pulse-echos led to a blog dedicated to this chihuahua, Chich. Apparently this pup gets to enjoy all the perks of Hollywood life through a photographer to the stars. But the pics gave me more than a couple of chuckles, which is monumental even for me.
